I applied on Common App to Rutgers: New Brunswick. Instead of putting my starting date of high school as 9/08, I put 9/09. I also managed to do this with Seton Hall and Montclair State. Silly me. The other two I don't think will matter too much, but for Rutgers I have to fill out a website with all of my classes, and there are only three years available for me to do so (It excluded my freshman year). So I emailed Rutgers but they haven't gotten back to me yet. What should I do?

Call each school and ask how to correct this.

It probably won’t be a big deal, since most schools base admissions on the official HS transcript that your school sends in, rather than self-reported transcripts.

Also, don’t worry, you’re not the first person this has happened to, and won’t be the last.

I find contacting your area’s rep is the best way to get a response. If you don’t know who it is they may post it on the school’s website under contact admissions.

On the Rutgers one you can go to the settings and change your years of attendance.

By the way has Seton Hall contacted you for anything? I applied three weeks ago and they haven’t sent any type of confirmation and they never answer their phones or check their email…

mwrecks94- SAME HERE! I sent my app in like october but no confirmation that they received it.

23mferreira- contact the reps. Probably an easy fix.
