Mistakes and supplemental essay

So, I submitted my MIT application on January 1. I really enjoyed the whole application process but now I am like freaking out. I wrote down an essay of 440 words for "Are you still attending school? If no, please inform us on a separate sheet of paper what you have been doing since you left school.". But, when I clicked on the "validate the application" button, I was told to cut-down the words of the essay. I made it to 415 words but forgot to transfer the information in the additional information section. Without realizing the error I submitted the application. The information was really important as it talked about my art-work. Is there any way to correct that part? Should I send it as a short supplemental essay?
Also, in one of the non-scholastic distinctions, I marked "school" instead of "regional" by mistake. Can the correction be made? I am really concerned about the thing. What should I do now?

Just fax it in as a supplement.

Thank you very much for the reply.

Also, is there any way to make correction for the non-scholastic distinctions section?

^No. If you submitted, you can’t change anything. That’s why reviewing is such an important part of the application. However, I’m sure you could call the admissions office on advice on what to do. First thing that comes to my mind is to fax the correction, but I’m not sure so don’t take my word for it.

Hmm.

I think I’m gonna fax the essay as a supplement. As far as the mistake regarding the non-scholastic distinctions is concerned, I’ll e-mail addressing the issue.

I thank you all for your kind replies.
