I have a 2320 on the SAT (800R, 720M, 800W), and my superscore is 2340 (800R, 720M, 800W). My Math II was a 790. Is MIT out of the question now?

Those look like good SATs. But only good SATs will not get you into MIT

The mid 50 for Math in SAT1 is 750-800. Students with Math score within the mid 50 has an acceptance rate of 13% where as students with 700-740 still has an 8% admission rate. Nevertheless, there are much less applicants with Math scores between 700-740 than those with 750-800. In short, it is not impossible although it may hurt your chance from a already low admission rate.

Your SAT scores are good, but if you want to go into linguistics, MIT might not be the most suitable school for you. I would recommend schools like UPenn and Amherst instead.
