I created a fully autonomous people finding quadcopter that is able to produce a 3d map of its environment while searching for a face. Once a face is found the image is sent to my laptop.
I created it completely from scratch. 70% of the frame was designed and 3d printed by me, all of the code was written by me, and I developed a new algorithm in the process which filters sonar data using z axis acceleration data.
Most importantly, I was completely self taught.
