Hey you guys!
Saw there wasn’t a thread yet. Supposedly decisions are coming out in less than two weeks!
Our wait is almost over
Do you know the specific date and time it will be released
^I’d be very surprised if it wasn’t March 14, 2015 9:26 am EST.
If you all would keep up on their blog, it gives all the information and yes the date/time above is correct.
Confirmed 3/14/15 9:26 AM ET from MIT admission.

Good luck everyone!
man, I’m so nervous. Although, seeing as pi is really 3.141592654, they probably should have rounded it to 9:27 am. You know, just saying.
Well, perhaps they should have just gone all the way. Make it 9:26 and 54 seconds.
We’ll be up early next Saturday logging in to find out. It will be nice to just KNOW finally. Good luck to everyone!
Anyone wanna chance me for the lols?

Doesn’t really matter at this point. I would wish you guys good luck, but only a set number of people will get in so that’s wishing bad luck to the rest of these faceless applicants (and ME!).
Goodness theanaconda, your stats look incredible. If you don’t get in, it’s difficult to imagine who does get in. But as you know, with such a low admit rate, there really is a lot of chance/randomness in it all. I’d say you have as much as chance as anyone to get in and considering the odds, who knows what that actually means.
3.1415926 I will forever remember this
Good luck, but I will want to warn you: Someone from my school with a 2360 SAT and World VEX Robotics Finalist got Deferred this year.
I am currently in 11th grade, so this may (or may not) be me next year…
Does anyone else go between phases of “I literally did everything I could, if I dont get in they messed up” and “Why did I even bother applying I’m obviously not good enough to get in”?
This sounds a bit odd to me but I’ve been asked to provide my SSN and passport info for MIT financial aid to look at and admission decisions haven’t even came out yet… Does this mean something or is it something the financial aid dept. asks everyone to do?
@GymnastNerd The first one is my mother’s constant state of mind. The second one is more of mine, but less regretful of applying. There’s always a chance until you get rejected!
@elyvine The fiancial aid office doesn’t have advance knowledge of any admissions decisions. They prepare packages for everyone who applies for financial aid.
@molliebatmit My parent’s W2 form still hasn’t been processed by iDocs, so it isn’t received by MIT, and under the financial aid tab it says “required for us to review your application”. Does this affect my admissions decision, or is it just financial aid?
@AnnieBot It refers to your financial aid application - your normal admissions decision has probably already been decided at this point, independent of your financial aid.
@kiriii Thanks!
haha, I know i could have done a lot more, so there will be some regret if I don’t get in. I had way more regret when my EA school rejected me; won’t ever be close to that much again.
