MIT Humanities Letter of Recommendation

I have 2 recs, one from my science/math teacher and one from another teacher. The second teacher teaches me in a class that is not science/math but does not really fit the humanities. They also teach a humanities class that I did not take. I only had one “real” humanities teacher last year, and I definitely am not asking them for a rec. Also, my school uses Naviance, so I can’t see any information on my recs like if they counted as a humanities or a supplemental rec. I have some questions.

Would my second teacher count as a humanities teacher because they teach a humanities class, or would I have had to taken their humanities class?

Would my application be automatically rejected if that teacher doesn’t count as a humanities/social studies teacher?

Is there any way to check what my MIT recommendations are processed as?

Here are MIT’s requirements:

So is the letter from a social science or language teacher (presumably that could mean an English or a world language teacher)? We could help you more if you could be specific, not vague.

The letter is from a social studies teacher, but I did not take their social studies class. They teach me in an elective class.

And that elective class would be…???
