MIT maker portfolio help

Hi Everyone,

I am applying to MIT and I have just finished writing my application and maker portfolio. However, I can’t decide whether or not to submit my maker portfolio. My maker portfolio is a Radio and I feel that MIT might think it is not sophisticated enough for their standards. Could it harm my application? However the maker portfolio is optional so it might not negatively impact me. What should I do?

During the lecture on maker portfolios, the speaker (Chris P.) assured that they can’t hurt your application.
Even if they could, a radio sounds impressive (and awful cool)! I’d definitely submit that.

Thanks!
