Hey guys,
I am submitting a maker portfolio for my EA app. I was wondering if anyone had tips for the essays or the portfolio itself. I’ve created a couple (4-5) things during high school, all related to comp sci, electrical engineering, and robotics. I was wondering what the portfolio is supposed to look like.
The only photos/videos I have of my projects were raw footage/photos I just took in the spur of the moment while creating/testing the things I’ve made. Is it okay to just add all these to the portfolio? Is the portfolio supposed to be a bit more professional? I saw some videos on youtube of people who made videos for their maker portfolio, and they went all out and it seemed really professional. Also, for the code I’ve created, should I upload screenshots of the code as pictures, or should I include it in the pdf upload?
For the pdf upload, can I just include a bunch of things that give details to each of the projects I’ve done? Like circuit design for a robot, code for some software, code for some different software, technical specs for a robot, etc.? I’m just worried that what I’m submitting is kinda not professional at all and just an amalgam of things I’ve done.
