Mit Site Down Application On At 11?

Goood Tidings! It seems as though the Application will be online 11 EST today

yes, it is indeed up.

where??? Is it just the online version you fill out while logged onto your MIT account?

When I click on the online application, I'm definitely still getting the "come back in late July" sort of message. However, my interviewer contact information is up.

when i sign into my "mymit" account theres a section for the online application. It's functinoal i just don't know if it's for 2007 or 2008.

its for the 2012
i am pretty sure
there is no reason for them to put up last years after they took it off!!

soo excited!!!!
I am visiting next Friday

OK, I now have a section for application tracking (which merely redirects me straight back to MyMIT) and the interview. Where are you guys clicking to get to the app?

Meh, I'm gonna visit if (too bad I can't say "when") I get in. I don't see the point of visiting and getting my hopes up and then get rejected...

Maybe you guys should clear your cookies on your browser.

aww
first it doesn't work, try logging out then log in again

and i just want to visit, cuz if i don't get in, i might never visit it. and my family is going to like a bunch of random national parks on the east coast this summer (free airplane tickets from mileage plans that needs to be used up. Mom wanted to to the furtherest place possible). I just get to reserve a day at MIT =D

I think the problem was that I'd had the same MyMIT account since 8th grade. It still had me as entering in 2008, but it was really old. Not that that should change anything, but I got a new account with a screen name that I actually use now and I got the application on the first try. Weird.

Good luck with the application and admissions everyone!
(UCs stole MITs 2B prompt this year lol! Cuz MIT is cool like that)

Is there a downloadable .PDF for people like me (old fogies) who don't log into a MyMIT account?

Token, I suppose you could set up your own account and get the application.

Oh, I hate to mess up someone's database just to do a workaround (although I did it on the College Board site once, so that my son could register for a test online when he was less than thirteen years old).

I don't think the PDFs are up yet. I'd assume they'd be up soon, though- I'd like to download them just to print them off and have a hard copy to go by while I fill out the online stuff.

Yes, three cheers for pdfs! We editor/Luddite types prefer the feel of paper and the ability to highlight/mark up relelvant sections. DS can submit online, but I like to read the print.
