<p>Also it seems like all of my friends are choosing MIT over every other school so I don't think they'll use it this year sighhh. </p>

<p>Also it seems like all of my friends are choosing MIT over every other school so I don't think they'll use it this year sighhh. </p>
<p>First, MIT has to know how many students are attending. Students don’t have to send a response until May 1. (Do y’all still do it by mail? Mail means more time will be spent waiting.)</p>
<p>I think in the past, waitlist applicants haven’t heard much until late June through late July. I’m too lazy to go check the blogs, though – you might want to look there to get a better idea of dates.</p>
