<p>What is the Governor's School, exactly? Is it only an NJ thing?</p>
<p>Many different states have similar programs, but NJ's is arguably the best (... not biased here... at all) It's a free 3-week program quite similar to WTP actually... but there's different subject areas. <p>My guidance department... "strongly encourages" all accepted students to attend, because they think that otherwise, we possibly took the position of someone else from our school. Though this year the nomination process changed, I believe the school still feels the same way.</p>
<p>That and I'm not sure I'm cut out for ME.</p>
<p>Well it's up to you (and your parent[s], I assume), but I'd certainly enjoy your company in ME. Just sayin'. </p>

i got an email today and i'm in for ME...was not expecting it, so i applied to other programs, but now have tough choices to make.

<p>It seems that only the ME director sent out emails, because they were definitely specific to ME. There's still a big chance you could be in at EECS.</p>
