Mit wtp 2009

MIT Women's Technology Program

So, who's all applying?

I'm applying. I hope I'm not considered "overqualified" because I'm taking AP Physics and AP CompSci, but we'll see what happens.

Possibly overqualified for wtp, probably underqualified for rsi sigh

I'm applying too! goshies i really hope i get it; it sounds like such an awesome way to spend a summer... :3

bump!!! :)

O come on, there's gotta be more people who've applied!

Any feedbacks on the application process?

I really liked the essays topics. The questions were about the applicant instead of having the focus on the program (I really don't like "why __" prompts). I had the urge to open my letters of recommendation. Too bad the flap was signed.

hahaha, I've looked at older WTP threads and there were always loads of people chatting about it. what happened to 2009? :P

anyways, i just really hope i have a chance, but the more i think about it, the worse i think my essays are, and i'm really afraid about my teacher recs--i don't know them at all, and I also gave one of them to a teacher who was really busy at the time, so he seemed kinda... annoyed at having to do an app.

the topics themselves, yeah, i did sorta like them too. So i guess they were all about uncovering our personalities?
and oh yeahhh i totally wanted to open up that letter. it was all fat. and inviting... and i was thinking about how easy it would be to forge that signature on the flap... but i didn't dare to in the end. hehehe
