I received my acceptance email for MIT's Womens Technology Program today. I'm very excited- and surprised because I really didn't think I would get in. My impression was that it's very competitive and since I don't really do math team and science fair, I thought my chances were slim.

Just wondering who else has been accepted? Also, is there anyone who has gone and can tell me whether the program was fun and worth going to?

I applied to! but I think my case didn’t really help their goal of promoting science and stimulating interest. now, I did do science teams and won my state science fair (went to internationals), but I kinda told my teachers that I wanted to be an engineer. All of this is not what they are looking for.

haha i got accepted too! but i hate that theyre making us say yes or no by april 10th because all of the other programs i applied to (mites, cornell nanobiotech intern, iclce, carnegie sams) dont come out till mid april or later =[

I got in too! I can’t wait. At all. This is pretty much the highlight of my young life. Which reveals something about the quality of my young life. But still! Yay!

I got in but I have to decline since I also got into MITES and that was definetly my first choice for the summer ^^ I wish ya’ll all the fun!!! enjoy it! I might see some you around MIT this summer :)
