I read most of last year’s thread. Haha those guys seem like awesome people…

And I just want to know already too ):

Less than one month though.

I read most of last year’s thread. Haha those guys seem like awesome people…

And I just want to know already too ):

Less than one month though.

Remember, the amount of people applying on CC is not representative of the total application pool.

And plus, I’ve more or less accepted my imminent rejection, so I’m not waiting on anything.

I’m almost w/ you @AlphaR, I just have a little hope I might get in. When do they usually send results? Email or mail?

Someone suggested I call MITES and ask for my decision since I need to notify STEP-UP by the 28th… Good or bad idea?

I think it’s by mail, so waiting yay!

At least it’s not by e-mail, which I think is a lot more heartless. But then again, that’s how most colleges are.

That’s odd, I was under the impression that this would be electronic notification… nothing beats snail mail, lol

@lesley
I would call, but they probably haven’t made all the decisions yet… Ask step-up for a deadline extension too.

@AlphaR: very true. guess i was trying to give myself some false hope for better chances :p

I wish I could do that…I am working on it…now I am only thinking about mites 75% of all the time vs. the 99% previously haha :D

@ Lesley
I agree with lanayru, you should call STEP-UP and ask them for an extended deadline. I’m not sure if it would be the best idea to ask mites that, instead I would ask them if they know the exact day that decisions will be sent.

Last year I got my acceptance through snail mail only.

Sent from my SPH-D710 using CC

do think less people on CC means less people applying (higher chances?)

and bump!

on MITES site:

We know that we have very accomplished applicants, unfortunately at this time we will be unable to amend any MITES applications with any new information. Thank you for your time, and we’ll be in touch in mid-late April with decisions.

Mid-late April? Please don’t be late April…

@lanayru and @amgirl3838 Thanks for the advice! I think that’s the best thing to do at this point… Thanks! :p

@007math Late April? oh geeze. >.< Lol

And just wondering, since a lot of CCers seem to have applied, are all of you minorities (as in non white, indian/asian)?

I was adopted by Caucasian parents so racially I’m Asian but ethnically I’d say more Caucasian :P

i just read the thread from last year and their’s was soooo long!! we should make ours like that!! Where’s everyone from?

I’m puerto rican to answer the question!

I’m Puerto Rican and from upstate NY :p

Nigerian (born in America) from Seattle, WA!

Genders would be great too!

Asian female from US Deep South. :P

Hispanic Female (born in Peru) that lives in southwest FL
