Yes, this is super important! None of my references have submitted and I have had to follow them for the past month. Also, make sure that your references know to submit through the OEOP website. One of mine didn’t even check the email about the link.

Also, just so you are all aware, I pulled my application from consideration for MITES due to acceptance at a different program (my application is still in for MOSTEC). Hopefully this increases everyone’s chances of getting in even if by a super miniscule amount!
