Mn School, WI Resident - Wisconsin Reciprocity Approval

Okay so my classes start Monday (so excited). I'm attending a MN school and I am a WI resident (and will continue to be while I'm in school). I received an e-mail today from HEAB stating I was approved for Wisconsin Reciprocity for the MN school and they're sending the notification on Thursday next week to the MN school I am attending. I was already billed non-resident tuition but my financial aid has yet to pay on it (my financial aid was approved but hasn't managed to pay anything for what is owed on my student account...ugh). So here's my questions:

1.) If I'm approved for WI reciprocity and I was charged full amounts of non-resident fees for a MN school does the difference of what I was charged vs. what I should've been charged get credited back to me for the Fall semester?

2.) The college I go to lists a few charges per credit but I don't see a MN/WI Reciprocity charge so I have no idea of the difference vs. what I was charged vs. what I should be charged now that HEAB has approved me for WI/MN reciprocity.

If anyone could answer this...you'd be my best friend forever....tomorrow is my b-day and I'm totally stressed about getting what I should back from financial aid and not being over-charged.

EXAMPLES OF THE "COURSE" CREDIT CHARGES ARE:

Tuition and Fees (approximate):
Tuition -resident: $398.43
Tuition -nonresident: $816.90
Approximate Course Fees: $153.39

what the heck does this even MEAN?

What is your aid?

It may get reduced since your coa went down.

OKay so the financial aid is Pell Grant $2,775.00
Sub Dir SSL $1,750.00 and Unsub DirSSL $3,000.00 total. I’m being charged the following total…
(below)
Non Resident Tuition 4,356.80
Technology Fee 150.00
Student Activity Fee 97.50
MN State College Student Assoc 4.96
Parking/Related Services Fee 60.00
MN Sales Tax 4.20
Duluth Sales Tax .60
Bookstore Charges 590.25
Tuition Surcharge 270.00
Current Balance Due $5,534.31

You’ll still get pell. What about room and board costs. What is covering those costs. It looks like you were gapped before so now your lower coa will have more covered.

I’m not sure they gave me any “room and board” costs. I ended up with $1900.00 roughly extra (after books and all class fees)…that’s all I got. I did get this e-mail today:
You do not have the reciprocity on your account yet, I will copy Julie in the Student Services office to also check on this, she is the one that would change it on your record. Once this is done, you should see the totals change on your account…thank you!

Sweet. I’m excited to start school and move on in the right direction (life’s been hard without a degree).
