<p>No, just mainly stuff do with languages/international relations.</p>
<p>Model UN is a truly awesome club. I've done it since seventh grade, all at public schools until this year (I transferred to a local catholic school after sophomore yr.). I've seen some prep school clubs at events. To be honest, in terms of quality, being in a 'well known' club doesn't always help you that much. In general, if a high-quality school has MUN, then you will be able to have a great experience at college conferences, etc. </p>

<p>What do you actually do in a MUN club? I mean I get the basic premise, but how does it work?</p>

<p>Would it be totally pointless to join my high school's Model UN now that I'm a senior? I feel like such a jackass because I've wanted to do it since freshman year but wasn't confident enough ("I'm not smart enough! I don't know anything about politics! I can't speak in front of people!") and now I really wish I had. I'm honestly not trying to impress colleges, because I know that joining a bunch of clubs your senior year only makes you look bad, but I was soooo shy for most of high school and it's only now that I've become outgoing enough to actually do these things (but clearly not enough not to second-guess myself about it). But yeah, is it possible to do Model UN for the first time senior year and not look ridiculous?</p>
