money for international transfers?

Hello guys, I'm considering transferring to the US to continue my study.I know money for international transfers can be very limited, but is it possible that I don't get any money when I get the admission, but after I get in, study really hard, and get some scholarships? I posted a same one in the " international student aid" but no replies. So I hope anyone can answer me? Thank you so much!

Well, as an international transfer who has just transferred, I have to tell you that it is true when they say aid is limited. Any aid that you would receive would be from the college that accepts you as a transfer. It is not possible, in my opinion, to get a scholarship AFTER transferring. Keep in mind you typically only have two years after transfer before you graduate...Most scholarships are awarded to freshman or incoming transfers.

Also, as an international student, you will not be eligible for state scholarships or federal aid, so that worsens things. Try applying to liberal arts colleges as an incoming transfer.
