Is anyone's material missing? I mean, is there any blank under the "received" column? The column of my Form 2A, transcript, app fee and SAT are all blank... Does that really mean all my materials are missing??

hmm you should probably call admissions to see if it's just a mistake on your app status check.

Depending on the date you sent them, it could just be that the new materials were not yet updated into the database.

I remember something similar like this occuring during the RD round last year We ended up figuring out that those who applied for FA got the new options and those who didn't didn't.

Might that imply that they made decisions and now are working on financial aid?

yeahh that makes sense

7 days left!

I didn't take any summer course in Brown, but I got the "personal information"
section too. When I clicked on the personal information, it said "These options are intended only for enrolled Brown University students." Does it mean anything? Is anybody submitted the application early but still hasn't got this personal information section yet.

"Is anybody submitted the application early but still hasn't got this personal information section yet."

Me! Me! Pick me!

i doubt that it means anything in terms of whether or not anyone got accepted, but the FA theory still stands. I applied for FA and have the extra options as well. I WISHH it meant we got accepted though! and the fact that it states, "these options are intended only for enrolled brown university students" may be due to the fact that it's only intended for those who DO get accepted. Therefore it would make sense to have a message like that for the FA applicants who don't get accepted. i don't know if that makes sense but it does to me, so yea.

So do any non-FA applicants have it?

Or better yet, do any FA applicants NOT have it?

Some of my info disappeared... the spreadsheet isn't blank, it's just cut off now. It says:

Decision: Admission decisions are currently not available.

And then there are no cells underneath that.

I applied for FA, by the way.

kristina- do you have the extra options to view grades, transcripts, student account, etc?

Kristina-mine is just like yours but I didn't go for FA

I did NOT apply for FA, and I don't have any options other than "Applicant, student and Financial Aid" and then the "Admissions" option within that page, so this theory makes sense.

I think everyone's application information was cutoff to the shorter spreadsheet now.

mjl, I have no extra options.

In that case, every theory we've mustered is out.

well, we'll find out in a week if there's any correlation between any of this stuff. until then, we can just continue speculating :D

I have no FA, the smaller spread sheet, and only one option. I think the FA theory is right. Probably they just made the applications available to the FA department.

At this point, I think everyone has a smaller spread sheet. I think after they received alum interview reports, they stopped taking materials for apps... Hence they took off the status on the individual forms/parts of the app that needed to be turned in.

Earl, except for the fact that at least one FA applicant doesn't have the extra options, if not more.
