Today, Morehead-Cain is supposed to invite out of state people, who do not go to a nominating school, to apply for the scholarship. Did anyone get invited? Did they contact you through email?

I was wondering the same thing.

They notify email on the deadline - and followed up with letters. I think they send the email around 3 EST.

it would be really appreciated if anyone who gets that email would post here to tell us…thanks

I guess either they didn’t go out today, or nobody was chosen.

did anyone get an email?

no email here!

me either :(

not me…

did anyone get it?

My friend got one.

i got one! (im her friend haha)

… and I’m kind of wondering how big of a deal it is. I didn’t know too much about the Morehead-Cain until I got the letter, and idk if that is any indication of if i’ll get in either?

It’s a huge deal. The Morehead-Cain is one of the most all-encompassing scholarships in the country. And obviously I can’t definitely say this, but it also means that you are probably in.

You should definitely check out what all the scholarship entails. Here are more details on the website… [What is the Morehead-Cain?](http://www.moreheadcain.org/what-is-morehead-cain.html)
As you can tell, I’m a little jealous I was a nominee, but I got cut at the semi-finals. However, I’m in-state so admission is much less competitive for me. Good luck with everything!

chap10 - did it come via email?

No it came through regular mail.

haha yes, it came through regular mail… thank you for the info! That’s really helpful :)

I was wondering the same thing for 2010; has anyone heard from admission referral and if so how?

@Chap10, PM me if you want Morehead info, I know a lot about it. and congrats!
