@thingschange I live in HI, and received mine on Friday, so I presume that there is still some chance of getting one this week. Of course, I’d probably stop hoping for one after the first half of the week.

Remember, Vanderbilt is by no means done making admissions decisions. Wasn’t the deadline just a month ago? I’m sure many of us who got MOSAIC invitees were either 1. turned in application by the scholarship deadline (Dec 15 or something) 2. specifically targeted by some specific characteristic (like maybe kids from X location) 3. Just got lucky that our applications were read first. Not all minority applicants are admitted into Vanderbilt through the MOSAIC.

Do american citizens abroad get MOSAIC invites?

Yes, most MOSAIC students are American citizens. It’s a multicultural recruitment program, not an international recruitment program.

@Pancaked I meant do US citizens abroad receive them as well or just domestic American citizens?

Some international students do receive it. On my letter, it explains how people traveling internationally should arrive a day before. I don’t know whether these students are US citizens or not however.

There is, indeed, a chance that more of you may get a MOSAIC packet this week. Snail mail is all too unpredictable.

I just got mine about an hour ago :D

In fact, I got an email about it two hours ago, before I even had any mail delivered.
