There are bigshots who tell people kindly asking for fair chances that all of the schools they are applying to are reaches...when i know many of them are matches!!!!!!! They are selfish and jealous as well....many of others stats and thus bring others confidence down to protect their ego!!!1

nah, maybe chances are 10% more than what people here say, but it really is that brutal.

i find it the exact opposite to whatr 666ram is stating. i see people posting they have 3.3 and 1680 sat's, and posters telling them they are a match for uc berkeley or ucla. very rarely do i see individuals state peoples odds as worse than they actually are. quite the contrary. i see far more people inflating peoples egos either because they are trying to be nice or simply dont know anything about college admissions or a specific college's admissions. i couldnt disagree with you more 666ram. but everyone entitles to their opinion. i do, however, find individuals rude in their assesment of peoples odds in a sense of being so blunt and nasty that it can come off hurtfull. this shouldnt stop individuals though from being truthful and honest about odds of admissions. most posters would want it a little rough and to have the truth than to be told they would get in somewhere they realisticly and in all reality dont have a shot at or are a long shot.
