Hey! so I am planning on asking a special someone to our school's christmas formal...and i have no ideas on how to do so. several people in my grade have already gotten dates and they have asked quite creatively. Now, my question is: What's the most creative way you've seen a guy ask a girl to homecoming/prom?

also...should i even bother? should i just show up at the girl's locker with flowers and all? or does that look like im a lazy bum? lol

Well, one guy put a chicken in this girl’s locker. You can try that. And maybe you can then proceed to fry that chicken and mail it over to me. Yum. (j/k about the frying thing; that is disgusting)

Flowers = easy way out. A bunch of guys do it this way though so it’s fine. Kinda lame though. But still pretty cute.

Do you know what she likes? My friend used to be obsessed with Juno so a guy bought a miny mailbox (off of Amazon. not too expensive) and filled it with orange tic tacs. He emptied one out and stuffed a note inside saying “Will you go to Homecoming with me?”. I thought that was really cute. Plus, she had a limitless supply of tic tacs for a month so I always went to her if I was ‘hungry’. :]

My other friend had an Amazon package “shipped” to her door. She opened it and found all this stuff (dried flower petals, candy, etc) and a note that said “Will you go to Homecoming with me?”.

^ there are less than 60 kids in my senior class. Maybe about 25 guys.

I can tell you those guys would not do that.

And yeah of course I meant if they were asking me out. : p

Also, no one really asks anyone out to dances at my school. most they do is just straight up ask, and most people go alone if they aren’t a couple. It’s kinda lame. I don’t like my school dances anyone because I know everyone. :/

“It’s simple as pie man, you plant your feet on the ground, you look her square in the eyes you say ‘Hey! baby, you and me’s goin’ on a date, that’s in the story’”

No need for more creativity than that!

On the more creative side, you could give her a Christmas wish list, go over it with her, and write something like “go to ____ with me?”

^LOL! What’s sad is that’s exactly what my dad did to get my mom to go out with him, lol. Sgt. Lincoln O’Sirus knows his stuff.

Can you sing or play an instrument? One kid at my old school brought his guitar and sang a song he wrote for this girl to get her to go. Kinda clich

Lol, I can’t believe someone put a chicken in a girl’s locker.

I know some people around where I live make posters and put them up leading to the direction of the girl’s house. They’ll usually go to the girl’s street and attach will you(as one poster) go to homecoming(as another poster) with me(as the final poster)?

Don’t know what the temperature is like where you’re at, but I had a friend who asked his date “will you go to homecoming with me?” by writing on her driveway in chalk. It was really cute and they are going out now.

The chicken technique is always a nice backup though :]
