Most important ACT subscores?

<p>Do colleges place more emphasis on the English and Math sections of the ACT than the Reading and Science sections?</p>

<p>I've been looking at average ACT scores for multiple colleges, and they only show their average Composite, Math, and English scores.</p>

<p>Many rely mainly on composite, many feel math and English are the more important scores, and a small number rely only on math and English (examples: GTech and Rose Hulman; yes those engineering schools ignore science).</p>
