for my school, probably harvard, yale, columbia, nyu and BU...

The plurality of students from my school choose OSU. As for top schools. It's really mixed. We have graduates from last year all over, two at Harvard, one at UPenn, one at Carnegie Mellon, one at Northwestern (my sister), one at Columbia and so on. And we have people at small liberal arts colleges like Oberlin and Smith. People don't generally go far West though.

UF and USF are considered the top colleges for my school. Although, the community college is in third and no college is the fourth top. However, there are a few who go to lesser known, small colleges which usually aren't challenging at all and usually if the val doesn't go to UF, they go to a quiet semi-good lac no one's heard of. I think we had two students to get into ivies one year though.

Cornell...Everyone's parents work there so we all get free or at least reduced tuition. I didn't apply, but had I, and if I were to get in, I would go to free. Last year, they accepted like 30 people ED from my school alone.

I was apparently somewhat mistaken. Over the last 3 years, grads have gone to:

....I had NO idea that people were going to some of these great colleges. I with it had names =/

Most people from my school go to UGA, Auburn, and Georgia Tech. But we did have 3 accepted to Yale EA this year.

UCLA,UCB,UCSD,UCR,UCSB,UCI,UCD,Pomona, Claremont Mckenna, Stanford, BYU, College of William and mary, Cal Poly SLO,CSUN,CSULB,SDSU

everyone at my school applies to Penn and Penn State. Yale is also really popular...along with Oberlin.

EVERYONE at my school would kill themselves to go to Stanford. I don't understand their fricking obsessiveness. Well, I guess 'cuz its California, right?

they all want to go to mit but no one ever gets in

Hmmm....well...I live in Southern California, keep that in mind...
UCLA, Stanford, UCSD, and UCI: Most of the Top Students at my school want to go to one of these schools (Not many want to leave California!)
Harvard, Yale, Princeton: A few of my friends who are top students...although, in my honors English class, no one even knows where the schools are? One girl said (during a college trivia session) that Yale is in South Carolina...I'm thinking, oh yea, put that on your application: Blah Blah Blah Yale Because blah blah blah, etc., etc., and of course, I've always had a Fascination with S.C. haha.
Claremont Colleges: No one even knows about them...Imagine that... ????
Rice, Emory, Vanderbilt I asked my college counselor about these schools at the beginning of the semester, and she said that no one has applied to any of these schools in the last three years, or something like that?????????????? (from our school)

Penn State-everyone who has the stats applies, and i mean that literally

they hope to not make it for the fall, but for the summer so they can spend more time at main-it's crazy, they'll switch into summer session just b/c they want to be there
