In terms of no sleeping, I've gone 2 days. I think 2 and a half / 3 is my absolute max, but that's when I have to start taking like pills and stuff. It feels horrible though.

What I do during exam week, is actually divide my sleep time to around 2-3 hours every 12 hours that I'm awake. It works quite well, and I get just enough to stay awake. I can go around 2 weeks like that before I completely crash.

If you want to get ready for exams, I strongly at least trying it for a week. It'll be HELL for the first week, but after that, it gets a lot easier. I started doing it when second semester began and I can pretty much control how much I sleep now.

I've never pulled an all nighter or even changed my sleep schedule so far at college or while I was in high school. I think the longest I was a awake was like 40 hours, but it wasn't to study. A friend of mine convinced me to stay up and pick up his brother at the airport with him, so we got drunk and them started pounding enegery drinks to stay awake. By the end of the next day I was like the walking dead, and barely made it home to crash.

Even when I had 5 final exams in a 4 day period I didn't stay up past 1PM each night, I can't function if I don't get rest.

If you're having to pull all-nighters (even during finals), you should probably take a look at your time management skills. I realize they're not uncommon, but they are terrible for your health and almost always totally unnecessary.

At most, it was skipping one night of sleep because my floormate was partying on the last day of exams... at least it was the night before the day I'm going home for Christmas break.

I went almost 3 whole days without any sleep once...it was interesting to say the least. I've done ~2 days without sleep countless times, though...so it doesn't really faze me much anymore.

During summers I become either completely nocturnal or do the stay up two days, sleep 14 hours, stay up two days, etc thing. My brother has the same problem...I guess it runs in the family?

My all nighter days start around 9am then go to 1am the next day usually...soo 40 hour days? What really sucks is when you pull an allnighter and then the next day you still think its the previous day ("What? Its Tuesday? Oh, $#!@, I thought it was still Monday!"). Or you go so many nights of getting 2-5 hours of sleep, you just turn into a zombie and just don't care about anything other than getting work done.

I stayed awake for 5 days (120 hr) once this semester because I couldn't sleep the first three nights then I just decided to stay awake after that until Friday night. It was hell. I was like the walking dead and I could barley function and my head hurt all of the time.
I did 4 days once last semester with the help of adderal.
The crashing sucks by the way. I think I slept for 20 hours after both instances.
