All-nighters

What's the longest you ever went without sleep?

Me: 27 hrs.

Got up on Friday morning and didn't go to bed till Sunday night. It was the weekend of a sleepover and the next night I didn't feel like sleeping.

Caffeine was my friend. So was obnoxiously loud music.

36 hours is it.

I have no clue how you guys do it. I NEED to sleep.

how about.. the longest ive ever slept? cause thats the only remarkable thing about me... its 35 hours.

without sleep is maybe 32ish.. cause harry potter needed to be read a couple years ago

Woke up for school, had to start and finish an art project that night. I drove to school and slept in the parking lot for half an hour.

I expect to break that this year at prom/post prom. Especially because it's entirely possible that I'll have a track meet the next day.

How the hell do you sleep for 35 hours?!

I've been in the 50's

About 30 hours. It hurt.

I went to visit my friends at the University of Puget Sound and successfully lied to my parents about my whereabouts. I was never in a dorm with four guys. Never.

I was in so much shock that I didn't sleep for 42 hours or eat for about 16. But regardless, it was the best weekend ever.

36-40hrs not really sure although I had a short nap about an hour before school. I had to do a project on the 2004 election and had to stay up watching the debates I recorded on video as well as writing critiques about the election.

40 hours awake
19 hours asleep

new years, i woke up at 9AM, stayed up all night until 6AM, so 21 hours

Wow, I'd never want to do that to myself. It's bad for the health not to sleep, and I'll go along with that.

once i pulled 2 all-nighters in a row (thought many of you have been worse off) because i had to work on a special project on top of homework. i'm personally done with pulling all-nighters because the effects have not been good at all. i drank so much coffee this past year for being so sleep-deprived that the caffeine withdrawal (i think it's a partial cause) has caused me weeks of lightheadedness this summer. since there's no medical explanation for it, i think the lightheadedness/semiconsciousness is really due to sleep deprivation, stress, caffeine withdrawal, long-time exposure to the computer screen, etc. I AM DONE with it. now, i'm finding myself having to wear sunglasses when using the computer, just to eliminate computer usage as a probable cause. i promise myself i will have good study habits this year, no more procrastination.

wow...

80 hours... but homework or caffeine wasnt the cause

it was truely hell

52 hours..

and I was in big pain. As every hour passed by at school, I'd moan and groan and count.. 49 hrs without sleep...50 hours without sleep, etc..
I ****ed off so many people lol

wow are sunglasses good for your eyes (near the computer)? I might try that..

You could also turn down the brightness on the monitor.

surprisingly i haven't pulled any all nighters...I have stayed up till 3 am a lot of times during the year though

goldshadow, i also turned down the screen brightness, but doing that doesn't really act as a "filter."
