<p>Well I HAVE teens, lol. If the 21-year-old wants to change majors, he is an adult who needs to live his/her own life. He’s not talking about dropping out and enrolling in clown school. He has to live with the consequences of his major/career choice, the mom doesn’t. It isn’t as though this student is a fresh-faced 18-year-old wanting to major in something wholly impractical. Then it would be a discussion worth having. If mom thinks she has a clueless 21-year-old I guess she’s already made a poor investment!</p>
