I'm having some SERIOUS problems in the motivation department, and a major case of senioritis.

I was just wondering how you guys keep yourself motivated to do well the second semester? (My first semester is already over)...by looks of it my average is going to drop like 10 points...and I dont care

I'm naturally like motivated and determined. I don't like to settle for less than what I know I am capable of. I want to sleep through the rest of the year too but I know work still has to be done. Just look at it like the way you are now is a good sign of how you might be in college or even after.

What motivates me is the fear of having an acceptance rescinded. But I'm okay with B's nowadays, as long as it's in an AP class. I actually have a C in AP English right now and need to raise it to a B in 2 weeks. It's not completely my fault though - I was late to class one day when we were turning a 200 point assignment, and the teacher marked the assignment late and took off 50%. That hurt. And Physics AP is a low B. Got quite a bit of work to do in the next 2 weeks, and it sucks.

man, I have the same problem...similar case of senioritis brought down my grade too much....but I have vowed to work hard in the second semester so colleges won't rescind my acceptance.
