Help

i don't feel like doing anything

You’re a senior. Don’t.

That is my way of going through things. I don’t even have homework tonight haha (6 APs though so it isn’t as if I have an “easy” looking schedule)

Put a photo of the local community college or nearby McDonald’s as your screen saver, if that doesn’t motivate you to do work, well you are too far gone.

^^^^ Well for most CCer’s, a better picture would be their local state flagship or something like Tufts haha.

For me, this is enough (but I’m not a senior):
(Think this…)
Did you work your hardest just for an acceptance letter? Or did you work hard to prove to yourself that you can work hard?

^^True that.^^ Ouch for Tufts.

Reverse psychology. Tell yourself “I’m doing absolutely nothing tonight,” and force yourself to put away your work and watch mindless TV/Facebook stuff/whatever until the panic mode sets in. Then wait thirty minutes. You’ll be motivated enough from your panic to do your work.

See, it’s easy to waste time if you pretend like it’s only five minutes, or if you have a history book open next to your computer, even if it’s completely ignored. But if you put all your school stuff away and acknowledge that you’re doing absolutely nothing, your nerd-panic will set in. You’re a CC-er, after all, so you have a work radar hidden somewhere.

Oh noes, I got rejected from Caltech and am forced now to go to UIUC for computer science. Suicide.

^ lol 10char

Don’t do anything. I have literally done no work at home this year. The only class I ever have homework in is math and I do that at school the next day. So I’d say this year is working out beautifully.

This is lol.

My classes this year are ridiculously easy. The problem is not the work but rather deciding to show at all. On the brightside, my classes are fairly interesting. The toughest will be AP World History. It’s extremely interesting but way too much work. I’m already slipping… so my goal is to maintain my 98 now and let it die to like an 87 after acceptances.

yeah…i tired earlier on in the year, now my grades have slipped
