<p>Can anyone tell me how the program is and how involved people are? I really like Mount Holyoke, but I want a school with a good theatre department.</p>
<p>D is not a theatre major but heavily involved with theatre for producations that are not for theatre majors. I suggest you contact someone who knows more about this. According to D if you are not a theatre major, you will have difficulty getting in to productions. There are specific productions for non-theatre majors and D has made many of her best friends this way.</p>
<p>For Fall 2011, the (musical) theater department will apparently be putting on the Rogers & Hart musical “By Jupiter”, to be performed in November. An orchestra will play the music.</p>
<p>Two Mount Holyoke alumnae, Wendy Wasserstein and Suzan Lori-Parks, won the Pulitzer Prize for drama.</p>
