Hi, I was accepted into the sholars program as an engineering major and my first choice was the Mount Leaders Scholars. I would appreciate if any of you have been through the program or are currently in it that have an inside look at the program? The info session at scholars day made it seem like a diverse, close nit group of people from a pretty wide range of majors. I just wanted to know how true this was and if the service hours are worth doing for this program?
If I don’t get into this one my second and third options are humanitarian and green engineering, any other info on those would be appreciated too.
My D just received notification last night that she has been accepted in the Mount Leadership Scholars for the fall (it was also her first choice). She is a Psych major on a pre-med track. It looks like a great program. If you join MLS let me know and I will give you her contact info.
