Any guys here use mousse? I use it lightly because my hair is way to fluffy and lightweight after i wash it. Also, I only use shampoo without conditioner. I hate gel, especially the ones that harden. Is there anything else I could use that it better for my situation?

What kind of effect are you looking for?

Mousse should only be used for volume or a texturizing effect.

If you want a smooth look with a flexible hold, I would try using a smoothing cream. I use Garnier's Smoothing milk for my hair (I'm a girl) and it works great while still keeping it natural and soft.

Products for girls also sometimes contain a large amount of fragrance, so you'll want to check those beforehand too.

I want my hair not too fluffy and keep it a certain hold, but don't want anything that hardens it up

thanks for the advice

I'd go with the smoothing cream then.

DUDE .. . omg, i know a really good mousse product .. it's texture is exactly like whipped cream, but lighter if you shake it well enough, and yes it has a slight fragrance .. . but it's good for keeping your hair under control while still maintaing softness. At least it works for me ..

Its called Finesse Moisturizing Mousse, best stuff, i love how its so light yet controls, unlike cremes that can get on the heavy side.

If you're a guy with short hair, surfing wax is nice.

sarorah--thats the exact same product that Ive tried. It does have a fragrance but I just borrowed it from my sis to try it out Its good but Im going to try other stuff to see what is better

I'm making chocolate mousse...lol.

I swear i thought the thread was about stuff like chocolate mousse reciepes....now I'm hungry
