Rather vague, but in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, episode "Banks Shot," Aunt Viv says that she has to go give a lecture in Berkeley.

Also, in Home Improvement episode "Taylor Got Game," there is a pennant of UC Berkeley on "Tool Time" (they did the "Man's Dorm Room"). I just saw the episode an hour ago, and I'm amazed that Brad wants to go to UCLA with an SAT score of ~1070, old scale (he gets excited when he gets his SAT scores of something like 540 Math and 530 Verbal).

In Good Will Hunting, Robin Williams make a reference to the Unabomber and his time at Berkeley.
In the Movie "Orange County", the kids guidance counselor tells him he'll easily get into Berkeley, but he wants Stanford.

As an added note, his severely retarded guidance counselor told him he was in at Stanford and that he didn't need a safety, and she also sent the wrong transcript, causing his rejection.

(I think the "you'll easily get into Berkeley" was a comedic line.)

How odd, I was just watching that.

Also, in Medicine Man, the doctor who won some prize twice (only person to do so) and who was helping Sean Connery in the jungle graduated from Berkeley.

I'll have to defer to a "Sopranos" expert, but I think her parents wanted her to stay close to home. I can't tell you which season, but it was pretty early.

In Iron man 1 or 2, this hot blond reporter comes up to Iron man,RDJ and asks about blah blah some environmental or poverty issue…kinda don’t remember exactly tho. and RDJ asks ‘Berkeley?’ She answers, ‘Brown’. They end up having sex that night.
