MSB ESSAYS- can anyone help?

Hey everyone! I'm applying to the McDonough School of Business...

For the essay for all applicants, mine isn't about business at all-- it's about me and my personality, and my involvement w/ the environmental club and attempts to spread awareness... is this bad? should i write one that's more business oriented?

Then there's the essay just for MSB applicants, which is where I'm discussing my interest in business. So do you think it's okay if my first essay isn't? I mean I hope they'd like to accept well-rounded people and not ones who are just so focused on one career that they can't see anything else, you know?

thankksss!! any feedback would help a lot!

that's fine, if not preferable. the first essay is a personal statement, meaning you should write anything about yourself, business-related or not, while the other is to make your case of why you want to go to msb.

thanks jp! :)
