<p>Me too, I know we get room assignments tomorrow. I'm in the PA program and applied to Yakley from the honors college. I don't want to have non stop parties on my floor, but don't want to room with a bunch of non fun people either. I guess whatever happens it will work out... Anyone have any comments?</p>

<p>I am pretty sure my son did not get his room assignment until mid-July last year.</p>
<p>We don't receive our actual room assignment and roommates out until August, but they were supposed to send out an email with what dorm we're in on Monday. Hope it comes tomorrow.</p>

<p>Ugh. Got my assignment and they messed up my roommate request. They assigned me to Hubbard...</p>
<p>that stinks! Well, here are some plusses to Hubbard: tallest building on campus, close to the student parking lot. Also heard that it has good (the best in comparison) food. Just think, if that's where you end up it'll at least be a bonding experience. Make the best of it and you'll be fine</p>
<p>Also, are you sure your roomie requested you properly (and vice versa)? Perhaps he/she made a mistake on the app when listing you as a roommate.</p>

<p>I don't think so. At your AOP when talking to the counselor/class-schedule people, just ask (beg?) that you'd like to be switched into James Madison College because of all the academic opportunities etc. etc. (don't mention that you don't want to dorm in hubbard :D as that probably won't help your case). Hopefully they'll honor your request because there are probably going to be a few people switching out of James madison by that time also.</p>
<p>IDK I might do that, but I'm already enrolled in the drew lab enrichment schisse so I guess I have to live in hubbard. It seems like it'd be too much of a hassle...having to move into hubbard then to case(is case suite style?) I'm not sure if I'm serious about government and whatnot...I applied no preference.</p>
