<p>They asked to see 7th semester grades. Is this a deferment or are there other letters that say specifically you got deferred?</p>

<p>It is not a final decision and is a deferral in the sense that they are postponing a decision pending receipt of further information. So, it is a deferral–I don’t know if there are letters that specifically use the word “deferred,” but the effect is the same regardless.</p>
