I applied early admission to msu, and i was deferred. I checked my application status and it said that i needed to send in only my first trimester grades (which i have sent in). I have talked to other people who have applied, and they were also deferred, but it said that they needed to send in their second trimester grades also. Is it better that they only asked for my first-tri grades? At first i thought that i had a good chance at getting in still, but after doing some research, i feel like my odds are slim...my gpa is a 3.46 and i received a 22 on the act, which i know is low. Do people who are deferred often get in? Or what are the chances, and when will i hear back? I recieved the deferral letter one week before my first trimester ended, and unfortunately i ended the first tri with a 3.2 (which i am not happy in) and my gpa went to a 3.44-- i am VERY determined to get all A's if possible this tri, but i wanted to know what my chances were at getting in. Please be honest, i am set on msu, but i dont want to get my hopes up, and im disappointed i am being strung along : (
--i am also considering retaking the ACT if it would help

Does anyone know the acceptance rate of michigan state university? How many deferred students actually get in? Thanks!
