MSU Transfer Spring 2020

MSU is not 55k for tuition. It’s around 37k and with house 47k

I don’t want to burst anyones bubble, but transfer student applications don’t actually have a timeline. I was told this back in March when I applied for fall 2019. We don’t have the whole “8-12 weeks” like normal applicants do.

Every major belongs to a college, which will have to also review your application if the university deems that you can be admitted to the MSU. This can make your application take longer, as some colleges don’t review their applicants for weeks at a time.

It sucks, but its really just a long waiting game!

Good news folks! Preliminary review was completed and I am now waiting on the college of engineering! So close to hopefully being actually accepted

@ColoFTW Congrats! Still waiting on updates about my preliminary review

I was just accepted this morning!

@Madi72 Congrats!!! Could you list your stats and what college you applied to?

Heard back from Admissions and they want to see my first sem grades?? Lol, I had to explain to them that I’m currently studying abroad and won’t get my transcripts till Mid January (maybe) so this definitely may have pushed back my decision.

I applied for a microbiology major!
I think I currently have around 72 credits (I was in a middle college during my high school years). I’m also In-State. I have a 3.48 gpa at my community college. I didn’t have too many extracurriculars either, just a few jobs, awards, and I included my yearly backpacking excursions out of country

Just heard back about my preliminary review and now I’m just waiting for the college of business

I got in a few days ago!

@jengriff2021 Congrats! If it’s alright pls drop your stats and what school you applied to for those who may apply in the future :))

I was just accepted today!

accepted this morning!

To those who got in, did you guys receive a financial aid package? I thought it might come in the mail with my acceptance but it didn’t. Thinking I might have to call them and ask.

Never mind, I figured it out lol

Has anyone who applied to the college of business heard back yet?

I got in today. CC transfer with 37 finished credits and a 3.67 GPA. Public Policy major coming from a biology associate’s program.
