MT Notification Dates and Methods Spring 2014

@raellis123 My S’s acceptance from Ohio Northern we received on 12/13 was for both (artistic/academic). A seperate letter followed dated 12/20 with his scholarship award. Sounds like an acceptance as they included a string bag in his package!

lol cellomom, that gave me a good laugh. This is from Ohio Northern, not Wagner.

Thanks MTMajorCook, I don’t FB.

Thanks MTMommaJAA, now I’m even more on pins and needles waiting for her to get home! Dance class just started, so won’t see her for another hour.

BTW, to the original point of this thread, Ohio Northern said they notify people within 3 weeks after audition. Also, said they are not doing a waitlist this year, it will be a Yes or a No.

raellis123…meet her in the drive way LOL

So D runs in after dance class grabs the envelope and starts to run out to go back to rehearsal. Silly girl - I don’t let her leave until she opens it. Unfortunately she was not accepted into BFA, but they did accept her in the BA program. Bummer. Did have the string bag like MTMommaJAA mentioned.

Ithaca is definitely a No…got the letter in mail today. Very sad son now…unfortunately CCM rejection letter came today too. Although we already knew their answer it was still hard to take two in one day. Poor kid.

Oh no! @MTMommaJAA I’m so sorry for you and your son. It’s okay to feel bad tonight. I bet he’ll bounce back by morning.

It’s a no for my D for Ithaca and Penn State :frowning: Waiting on 7 more decisions.

So sorry, DeReMiMom – my S got a no from Penn State too. How did you hear from Ithaca?

Ithaca changed her status over the last couple of days by sliding over “audition” from the “what we still need” side to the “what we have” side. Then a letter came snail mail granting academic acceptance but a no to MT.

The saga continues…Coastal Carolina called with an Acceptance!!! I’m excited, but it did not erase the pain of the Ithaca “no” for the S…he really wanted to go there…maybe he’ll come around.

UGH! Sorry for all the rejections or as MTMajor’s son calls them “cuts”.
cellomom, you win for the halogen flashlight suggestion!

They get cut from the “try outs”

@DoReMiMom how did you hear from Penn?

They updated her status with I’m the info and said she could go there academically but not for MT
