Hey,
What year do colleges start actually caring about your grades (freshman or sophomore)? These are my grades so far this quarter (only have about two weeks left):
Biology 1 Honors-87 (good for me)
English 2 Honors-90 (can bring up to an A)
AP European History-73 (...)
French 3 Honors-95
Health-100
Art 1-95
As you can see, my grade in AP Euro is the lowest I ever thought I'd get (since I got a 96 last quarter). But if this is just one report card, will that really count against me? I just turned in a bunch of extra credit and plan on doing some more, but it will probably only do but so much. Do colleges look at all of the students individual report cards or just the final average? Thanks for the help.

I think colleges use only the average end year grade for thats how you figure out your GPA using the Year end grade. So it doesn't matter if your term 2 grade is a c- now with the A from earliar it will be a decent grade and you can still bring it up.
i also believ that college start looking around sophmore year but the most important year is Junior year
I am in AP Euro too-it is really hard at least for me I have an 87 but then my Teacher-i just can't describe him he is just crazy

you guys dont even know how lucky you are. at our school we are stuck taking gym class and job contracting our senior year because there is nothing for us to take. the hardest class you can take is physics at our school. and we can only take one year of it. i would love to be able to take harder classes than what i have.

Most take your sophomore, but every college is different.
