Is there any advantage in taking Multivariable Calculus in high school/CC dual credit or do you have to take it again in college? It’s not an AP course.
If it is an actual college course, it is more likely to be accepted for subject credit and/or placement than if it is only a high school course.

It’s a high school honors course. He can take it through community as well but to be honest, his school does a better job and peers in classes are really bright students.
I heard that sometimes you can take a math test before you start college and if you well on that you get to skip calculus III which is multi variable calc. You should ask the college you plan to attend about that. Then take it, because it’s very difficult to self study multivariable calc.
