I have a 95 in calculus AB junior year and I could either take multi or bc next year. I will take the bc ap test next year either way. I’m wondering if colleges will accept the test without the course and if i will have to retake bc again in college. Which course would be the better choice?
If the college gives credit for the AP test, they will not care if you took the course or not.
That depends on the specific college in question.
Well, calculus courses build upon older calc courses. You need the concepts from calc II (the BC topics) to do well in calc III (MVC). But if you plan to take the BC exam, you must have some game plan to learn those topics.
How would you take multi variable calculus without first taking BC? I don’t think you can just skip BC calc…
