Multiple Calculators on SAT II?

I was wondering if you were allowed to have on your desk multiple calculators while taking the SATS/SATIIs. Of course I'd want the graphing calculator for polynomials/imaginary/graphing...it's just that it's so much easier to solve simpler problems with your basic scientific calculator.

Thankss :)

Yes I think you’re allowed to except how is solving basic equations simpler on a scientific calc?

mm… probably because I just purchased a graphing calculator, so i’m not all too used to it yet. just find that with the scientific calculator some keys are more direct, and you don’t have to scroll through menus to get the keys.

You are allowed to have a backup calc. But some proctors might not let you have 2 calcs on your desk at the same time. I’m sure you could put one away while you use the other though. Just make sure you get them both approved when/if they check calculators. If your proctor asks why you switched in the middle of the test, you could just say it is because your other one was low on batteries.

I brought a 84 and 89 to my subject test. The proctor didn’t care that I switched calculators every minute as long as both were not on my desk at the same time.
