So I was thinking of attending two community colleges this fall. My primary college has a horrible chemistry department so I was hoping to go to this other college to take my chem classes. How will financial aid play a role in this? I receive a full grant at my primary college due to being low income.
You can’t and you won’t. You can only be matriculated at one college, which means you will only be able to get financial aid at one school.
The only way that you can take classes at a second CC is if you pay for it. However, make sure that your current school will accept the credit and get the proper paperwork before doing so (don’t want to waste money on a course you will not be able to use to meet your graduation requirements).
Pick ONE college to seek your degree. That is the ONLY place where you can receive financial aid.
