<p>Hi molto - lots of good answers here. I know at UMich, my younger D had slightly lower then usual SAT scores but was accepted to the school of music - audition played the key role. One thing to know is that academics can play an important role in scholarships. Two of my oldest D's scholarships from Eastman were based on her hs academic performance (GPA). Good Luck to you!</p>
