I've been meaning to get into computer music production now, and I figure that summer would be a great time to start. I do realize that I've missed the deadline on pretty much everything at this point, as I was expecting to go to some science related one but didn't get in.

I'm specifically looking for an actual structured program that meets for a few weeks. Residential, I don't know. If it's somewhere in California I guess it could work. Don't think my family can afford flying me to the east coast and back for something like this though. I can't be there from July 7-14 either.

I've been looking at Computer Music Programming at UCI. Music | outreach Anyone taken this program before? How was it? What exactly did you do? Perfectly fits my schedule, and 10-4 is reasonable. Close to home too. Just not sure about the quality.

There's also Digital Media Academy at a few campuses around here. They have a 1 week Beats and Audio Production program. Now, it costs the same as the UCI one for 1/6th the time, but I'd like to ask for opinions of anyone that did this before.

I am fairly well versed in music theory. Actually taking the AP Music Theory test in a few weeks, and I'm predicting I'm getting a 5 written, 1 aural.

If anyone knows any others please enlighten me. Thanks.
