I was recently admitted to Case and auditioned for the music dept. I got in, but I don't know how to tell if I got a scholarship or not (I just want to know if i got one, not that i THINK i did!) Do you access that on the website or is it in the acceptance letter? (which i received.) thanks!

p.s. NO WAY i can go to case w/o any scholarship b/c our family can't afford it, so that was just one of the reasons i inquired :P

Any Case merit scholarships awarded are indicated in your acceptance letter. Don't know about music scholarships notification though. Is there someone you can contact that you met during your audition?

if you go to the music department website there is a section on scholarships for music programs. i think you might be considered for some by your audition but i could be wrong...

Call the music dept. and ask about your status. You've got nothing to lose. And they do prefer to offer their scholarships to students who will actually enroll, so showing serious and ongoing interest is a good thing.

Jeremy - go to the financial aid section and click on Briefcase or use the second page of your acceptance letter to access your financial aid package. Do NOT assume that you can't go to Case because you did not get a scholarship. The school is very good about getting you in (if accepted) financially speaking. In most cases, even w/o a scholarship they cover you with grant money which you do not have to pay back either. In some cases, depending upon your need these grants equal what everyone else is getting with a scholarship. And yes, the school offers almost the same grant money that they do every year after providing your financial status remains unchanged. Good luck!
