I applied and was admitted with some scholarship EA to Case, but was curious about the awarding of Case's major scholarships, namely the Alexander A. Treuhaft Memorial scholarhip, etc. Since there are a limited number of these available, is notification for the winner(s) later than the notification for EA, so that the full pool of applicants would be in? I know Case says that all scholarships awarded are mentioned in the admissions letter, but I am curious about the few full-tuition scholarships offered. Not trying to be greedy, or anything, just wondering if I'm still in the running for them at all.
Thanks! :)

not to be annoying by bumping this…but has anyone who just received notification for RD heard about the few full scholarships?

Try calling the admissions office and/or fin aid and ask. It can’t hurt.

@hiltzation, my son was awarded a big one (don’t remember the name, but it was for a dollar amount not “full tuition”) along with his EA acceptance.

I don’t know about the full tuition one, but apparently, according to my snailmail admissions letter I received today, I got the Trustee’s scholarship for $27,500. I think that’s pretty cool, but it’s definitely not enough for me to attend, unfortunately.

Good luck to everyone else vying for one!

Thanks, GeekMom, that sounds similar to the one I received. Just curious about the very, very few biggie scholarships offered :)

I received 22,500 per year. I’m glad I got in, but I probably won’t go.

I got 27,500 a year Trustee’s Scholarship. I wonder how many of those they give out

I just found out I got a $22,500 President’s Scholarship - I don’t know if I’ll go, but I’m happy nonetheless!

DS also received the $27,500 Trustee’s Scholarship.
This definitely bumps Case to the top of our list for financial packages/cost of attendance. Final decision will come down to which of the reaches he gets into (or not). So far two reaches were waitlisted…

got President’s Scholarship - $22500 per year too. Yup, it was mentioned in the letter. Though I already have a better uni so… meh
