Music Theory, Art, Comp Sci?

<p>Hi, I'm just wondering if taking these AP classes and scoring 5's on them will help my chances of getting into an Ivy League? I'm going to try to take as many AP classes as possible next year as a Junior so I can put down as many 5's (hopefully) as I can on my college application. </p>

<p>I'm unsure if it would help or not because these three classes aren't really core classes with the exception of Computer Science, which is technically a math course.</p>

<p>Computer science is a computer science course, not a math course.
Taking a challenging schedule is always a plus. These courses obviously will be more important if you’re actually planning to major in those subjects, but even if not it’s a good thing to have.</p>
